Active Citizenship
The viducate 2010 video competition runs parallel to the “2nd European Forum for Video Education” which takes place on the 1st and 2nd October 2010 in central Berlin.
We are looking for creative contributions of up to 3 minutes which are self explanatory without the use of verbal language. The films should deal with the subject of active citizenship, they should directly or indirectly show how to empower citizens to exercise and defend their democratic rights and responsibilities in society.
The contributions can belong to any genres, for example documentary, experimental or a video letter.
The competition is for educators and media activists. We welcome contributions from all educational sectors (pre-school, school, vocational training, adult education, university).
