Languages and Film Talents Award

Our partner institution CILT from London (UK) has opened the competition for the "Languages and Film Talents Award":

"CILT is launching The LAFTAs (Languages and Film Talent Awards) competition to get students thinking about why it’s good to learn languages. There are some fantastic prizes up for grabs if you can come up with a creative and innovative idea presenting the most convincing case for being able to speak more than one language.

For some of our favourite language clips and sketches, go to YouTube, where your entries will also be broadcast. Check out the ‘favourites’ section and see if you can do any better!

You don’t have to be Tarantino or Spielberg; just show us why you think learning another language is important and how it can improve your life. Whether it’s a class project, an individual thing or with friends, get involved by creating clips, or animations that present witty and compelling arguments for learning a language."
